Engineers and Consultants Bangladesh Ltd. (ECBL) was established in the year 1974 and has developed into a premier consultancy Organization providing consultancy from the stage of conceptualization to detailed planning, design, and engineering for a varied and diverse discipline of projects. Its professional achievements include a large number of consultancy assignments spread all over Bangladesh.

ECBL is staffed by eminent, experienced and qualified professionals. The professional staff of ECBL comprises Engineers of various disciplines, Architects, Planners, Environmentalists, Scientists, Sociologists, Economists, Socio-economists, Financial Analysts, Project Management and Quality Assurance Experts. ECBL also has an active panel of associate consultants and advisors with rich experience in various fields and internationally known in their fields of expertise. It has a comprehensive IT Division providing in-house computer facilities.

In terms of manpower strength, apart from the 4 (four) members Board of Directors, ECBL is now having about 300 members of engineers, architects and professional staff of various disciplines, the majority of who are highly qualified, experienced, and skilled with wide knowledge of modern design and construction methods. They form a coordinated team to use the advanced technical resources available to them, thus ensuring that projects of whatever nature are designed and constructed which best suit the requirements of the clients and incorporate the most up-to-date technology and method available at that time.
